When wedding planner Laura Birney introduced Brandon and I to Marissa and her mom it was a perfect example of what I love most about my job. I get to meet amazing couples, even though we didn’t meet Matt until the day of the wedding Marissa filled us in on what a great guy he is. The two met nine years ago in school. She had just moved to a new city, new school, and claims that Matt made her cry on the first day! Marissa is such a strong and amazing young woman with a story of her own. She has been diagnosed with cystic fibrosis. A special arrangement at the ceremony displayed “65 roses” a saying that has been used by children of all ages to communicate their disease. A rose, symbol of love, has become the symbol of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. To learn more please click on the links.
